You know, sometimes I wish I was part of a faith with a larger following. I adore the people who follow the same path, but it's hard to make solid connections over a computer, you know? It's hard not being around people that share your beliefs and are on the same wavelength. I just want to be around people that share my beliefs, it's what I've always wanted when it came to being part of a religious community (note: I said community, not just religion, because I don't look for the people in a religon, though they are a big part of it, I look for the faith, the beliefs etc.) Even when I was what I considered an "Eclectic Pagan" I couldn't find anyone to really talk to, I mean it's not like there's a church I could have gone to. There is a temple, and there are many gatherings in the Kemetic Orthodoxy, but my lack of financial means to get there always gets in the way of it. I'd really love to meet The Nisut (AUS), as she is the leader of our people, but I don't know how long it will be before I can. Netjer willing it will happen, she seems like such a wonderful person, and a great leader.

I think maybe I'm being a bit self pitying, I shouldn't be. It's hard but I still manage to hold strong in what I believe. That's what counts in the end, my connection to Netjer, to the divine force that created us all and is within us all. I know I am forever in the embrace of the divine, and I am watched over, no matter how hard I try to think otherwise. *smirks*

"one of the pastor's here said that Christ is the dyamic action of god that inspires humanity through all kinds of different ways to reach the fullness of Life. if the christ was inarnated in jesus, the christ is not limited to jesus. the christ - the dynamic creative force of god - manifests itself differently in various cultures.for me, that is how i see Netjer: all is Netjer, but people call it differently all over the world. Netjer watch over me, I feel lost at times, and very distant. More often than not I let my fear take over me. I just can't seem to help it, and I turn to you always. I don't want that fear anymore, I really don't. Yet I know you can't just take it away, I need to learn from it but it's difficult. Challenges are something made for me to rise above, but I need a foothold, just one. May you watch over me always.

First Post

Em Hotep!
I started this blog to talk strictly about my spiritual life. I find it benificial to write about the things I experience, and I really love sharing my passion and the joy I feel when I experience spiritual things. Netjer willing I will actually update this blog, I sometimes neglect my journals, but I've been trying to keep updating them so all my friends can see them. Well I hope to post again very soon.
